ProdCo Works
ProdCo was my schools production company where we worked with real clients to craft video promotions to help support their business or cause. We worked as a team to craft a clear outline, film, and edit the final products. These are the projects I edited.
The Boys and Girls Club of Glen Cove
This was one of my all time favorite projects to work on. I came in as someone to assist in the production. The producer was no longer able to take this project on, so I stepped in as the Director/Producer. I worked with the development leader to help her vision come to life. I created a clear outline, organized some special shots to be included (the basketball shot as well as the computer room shot) and helped film the B-Roll. I then created the final edit using premiere pro. This will always be one of my greatest achievements as a brand new creator taking on my first large project.
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (Long Island Chapter)
I was the video editor on this project.
This was something I’m so grateful to have been a part of. An estimated 703 000 people die by suicide worldwide each year and this foundation not only brings awareness - but also serves as a large scale support group to help people who are struggling as well as the families who have lost loved ones in this way. I had a personal relation to this cause from losing a classmate of mine to suicide when she was only 14. It was a full circle moment as the family is featured in this video and it was my way to give back.
